Start with getting the system up to dateI use the Geekworm X1002 and Crucial SSD 500 GB Pcie 3.0. Nvme
OS Bookworm. But when I reboot, after the OS logo I see a flashing cursor at the top left and after about a minute it appears I have the desktop.
Is this normal.
And it is possible to upgrade the firmware
Code:
sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade
Code:
sudo raspi-config
- disable splash screen (systyem menu) so that you can see what's going on during boot
- set bootloader to latest (advanced options).
Then reboot.
You can check check the bootloader version with
Code:
rpi-eeprom-update
