Hi,
In a normal pi + sd-card setup, wifi passwords get stored/written to a file on the sd-card (say, a 'wpa_supplicant' or 'system-connections' file).
Is there a way to instead ask users to enter a wifi password every time the pi starts up, and not store it in on sd-card file?
Instead, the password would be held in some volatile location or linux variable (say), in such a way that the pi could access wifi for as long as the device was powered-on, but once the power went off the wifi password would disappear?
(That way, if someone stole the sd card, they wouldn't be getting any wifi password files)
Many thanks
Gilbert
