First thing I do is switch off sleep mode which you can do from the clunky PC utility. All my power-line adapters (and most other network stuff) is TP-Link, I started a long time ago with AV300 but everything is gigabit now, better range and speed. I have 5 powerlinks in use at the moment, which is interesting because the network goes in to a different mode above four (or maybe three?), it drops the speed on unused links, I presume to maintain the maximum number of channels for the in-use links. Some of my old TP-links used to go in a sleep mode and kill of the line, the a new one with WiFi really didn't like to be on for a long time., that was RMAd but by the time things got sorted for it during Covid times I had strung cat5 around the house and got some Deco units.
But my Powerline are AV500/600 and some faster ones.
I still really like them for ease.
