Well, is the 'standard USB stick' not usable by plugging it in the Pi4 USB port?
The instructions continue, "then restore from the USB stick to an SD card by setting the “Copy From Device” drop-down to the USB stick and the “Copy To Device” to a USB card writer containing the card to restore onto"
As I want it to be a straight bootable USB OS to bootable USB OS. Can I really use this program to do what I want or must I end up using and SD card?"

An image would be preferential but I am not confident it would succeed for me at my level of knowledge.
