Obvious thing, you need all the files, like in the prebuild https://github.com/raspberrypi/pico-sdk-tools (I guess there are).

Well that seems to have worked just by unzipping the files into "C:\Program Files\Raspberry Pi\Pico SDK v2.1.0\picotool". I don't even need the "picotool_DIR".

I guess that is where I should have started from. Many thanks.

Now to check VS Code, Notepad++ and Geany are still working. Maybe I'll leave that for next year.
