Passive cooling? What would be the best test of the Pi 500 under full load with a record of the temperature? Say every 10 seconds for 10 minutes.
I have a Pi 5 with the official cooler and the fan switches on occasionally but the workloads to do that are a bit beyond the Pi 5 so I usually run them on an Intel machine. I am looking at moving the work to a Pi 5 full time and using big copper heatsinks in a case with open air flow instead of the official cooler. I need to test the cooling options side by side and record when there is HOT and when there is CPU slowdown or NVMe slowdown. I will run the same tests on the Pi 500 to test the passive cooling.
