I recently got a Raspberry Pi 5 and the Argon NEO 5 M.2 NVMe PCIe Case. I also got a Samsung 990 PRO NVMe M.2 SSD (2 TB) for it, and it doesn't seem to work.
It could be that I've done something wrong, but rather than tear my hair out trying to troubleshoot an SSD that might not even be compatible, I figured I'd rather ask for recommendations for SSDs that work.
Argon 40 publish their own compatibility list on their product page, but a lot of them either cap out at 1TB, are not available to buy anymore, or are just bad (I've heard horror stories about Netac SSDs, for instance).
The PiHut assumes similar compatibility to the Pimoroni NVMe base, but I also don't know most of those manufacturers.
Does anyone have a 2TB NVMe SSD they can recommend for Raspberry Pi 5? Ideally, if you also have the Argon NEO 5, but Pimoroni might be close enough.
Thanks in advance!
