As far as I know, the cpu frequency can be adjusted by configuring cpufreq governor in the kernel, as well as in the latest raspberrypi-sys-mods, which can be modified using udev/tmpfiles, essentially by modifying scaling_governor. However, I am confused about the force_turbo in config.txt. According to my understanding, force_turbo is to set cpufreq governor to performance. I would like to know where this is set and how it is modified.
