You'll need to describe exactly how to reproduce this. Ideally with the minimal setup possible to see the issue.
As a start, do you get the issue if you run speaker-test? Something like:That should output "front left" / "front right" in a loop.
Check it is correct initially, then try quitting (ctrl-c) and rerunning it a number of times and check if channels swap.
(You can also run with "-c 6" or "-c 8" if your AVR supports multi-channel).
