But I think a mouse is a "relative" device, so you probably won't be able to position the mouse at 100,100 using HID commands. I may very well be wrong here...
Mice emit relative monements only, yes. Most KVM devices like the ASpeeds IPMI controllers on server mainboards provide not a mouse but a HID digitizer to the system by default. Digitizers provide absolute coordinates. This is what you want to use. It's in the base USB standard, and all OSses support it.
