How do packages within the http://archive.raspberrypi.com/debian repo that have Raspberry Pi foundation "special sauce" mixed in, and thus have the suffix added on, differ from standard Debian repo packages?
The reason I ask is that the recent addition of the ZFS-related packages in the raspberrypi repo appears to have caused some incompatibility issues with installing ZFS on new Pi-based OpenMediaVault installs (see https://www.reddit.com/r/OpenMediaVault ... v_for_now/ and https://forum.openmediavault.org/index. ... post417893)
However I can't seem to find any public documentation on how these packages that have the ~rpt1 suffix differ, and what pi-specific fixes and/or optimizations they have had applied.
More generally speaking, I do think it would be quite useful and good if there was a public list of all the packages within the raspberrypi repo that have had pi-specific changes made to them (at least the ones that were enough to warrant a ~rpt1 suffix), and what those changes are. Or perhaps there is one already and I just can't find it
sorry if this is the case.
Code:
~rpt1

Code:
2.3.1-1~bpo12+1~rpt1
