On the Pi5 that I've given my folks, I've added a cheap HDM to VGA adaptor...because they already had a perfectly adequate PC screen. That adaptor has an analogue audio jack it, which I've connected to the pair of powered PC speakers that they already had. It isn't audiophile quality to be sure; but it works well enough and far easier for them than Bluetooth. My STB provides power via the 40-way header from an internal PSU. Which is fortunate because USB-C extension leads required to allow PSU disconnection from the STB aren't USB-IF spec compliant.
Other component and positioning changes shouldn't be a problem. The biggest change from 3B to 5 would be the HDMI connector and getting analogue audio out. OTOH, the Pi 5, having moved the RJ45 back to where it was on the 3B, should make that less faff to fit than a 4B.
You can probably get something like that..
